Hi Folks, I've been lurking here for awhile and haven't really had anything really old to drive....until now. I recently picked up a 1937 Ford Pickup. Not too bad to look at, but needs a load of work such as wiring, tires, brakes the things that would make it safe to drive. It's pretty much original, but for a dropped front and juice brakes. I have no idea who made the front end, it's been under there for some time, judging from the grime buildup. The truck even still has the flathead in it, runs well. This isn't my first project, I just finished a BMW, R80 bike that I got in about 6 boxes and an ongoing '61 Corvette project that I've been working on for the last 7 years. I want to keep the truck much like it is, but since the front has a 4 inch drop I would like to lower the rear, does anyone have suggestions? I think I want to put shocks on the rear and I want to keep the wish bone, Dave
Sadly, Butchie had passed away 2 years ago, but never forgotten. I had to get 3 more bulldogs to take his place
Welcome from Westminster. Maybe you already know it, but we have some really good cruisin country roads out this way & points north. Give 'em a try sometime.
