Hi, I am Michael Karels from Plymouth, Minnesota. I am into nostalgia drag racing and go karts. If you go to the "History drag cars in motion" thread about page 370 I own the "Past Gas" T-bodied blown small block Chev dragster shown. That car was originally built in 1963 and ran as an A/D with a Pontiac engine. It was later changed to an injected 300 cid Ford 6 cyl and was reported by the original owner to hold an NHRA National Record in D/D. I have been running the car for about 12 years in an unblown configeration. I stepped up too a blower in 2007 and have managed a 7.37 at 185.52. I have also gotten into Margay Panther X go karts and parts plus one awsome Blachawk kart. I need a ton of part for a half dozen or so Margay's and I would appreciate anyone would PM me with anything thay might have available. Thanks? I' glad to meet you all! Michael
Welcome. I haven't been able to find an early photo of your rail. I ran an A/D at Coon Rapids from '63 - '66 and I'd probably remember yours.....might even have movie film of it.
