    Hi fellow car folks,
I'm the new owner of a 51 Ford Victoria. My wife's uncle restored it about 18 years ago, and now it's mine. He did a really nice job of keeping it very close to original. Still has the a flathead v8 with the overdrive transmission. It needs a some TLC, but not much.

I've been poking around, doing lots of searches and reading. There's so much information already posted that I'll probably stay pretty quiet. However, I will post when I can't find the answer and I'll start responding to others as I learn more and more.

As for the future of the car; I'm not sure. I'll likely do some minor mods to make it more "me", but my hope is to stay mostly on the original side.

Hi & welcome. That is a nice ride & you should really enjoy it. What part of the country are you located? Likely some of not too far away.
Post photos of it and what you do.

I live down in Alamogordo. I haven't been able to drive it much yet. Drove it to the DMV today and found out that the Master cylinder leaks just like everything else. By the time I got home, I used the park brake to stop me in the driveway...Lucky for no traffic. I'll have to fix that before it moves again. Once I get it on the road, I'll take more pics. Here's the best one I have so far. [IMG]
