Hey there , looking for a site dedicated to 1947 -1954 Chevrolet 3100 series pickups. not sure if I was in the right place. the "advanced design site " does not seem to be working or current. I personally like the 1972 and the 1953 Chevrolet pick up the best. the "72 body style is favored because its the same year I am . but I am finding a fondness with the '53 as it's the last year with the slat grill . personally I am not fond of the "bullnose" grill. the other thing is I like the idea of a inline six. my thought is to some day have a daily driver with a 292 inline six and 3 on the tree. short box/SWB. I find most the "72's have a v8 and I really don't need that kind of drinking buddy. my thought is the inline 6 is more of a sipper than the v8.
