Long time lurker here. Just wanted to introduce myself to the board. I'm a born and raise North Carolinian, a budget builder, and a junkyard smuggler. I'm not a hot rod builder (don't hold it against me). I joined the forum because I know a great knowledge base when I see one and there's no better tool in a shop than access to those who know more than yourself. I've worked on and off as a mechanic, engine builder, car salesman, and parts scavenger for the past 5 years. I've only owned a handful of domestic cars, but have recently become more interested in them, in a quest for a more feasible cost/power ratio.
