Hey everyone, my name's Cameron. I live in Cleveland, Ohio where I'm attending college. I've been to the Jalopy Journal before, but I didn't decide to join the H.A.M.B. until I met Don Moyer at a local cruise-in last night. I parked my MGB next to his Gremlin. We got to talking and I commented on the gorgeous red roadster next to it ("Lazy 8") and he told me that was his too! I was hanging out at his place today and he convinced me to join the forum; he's also in the process of convincing me to try my hand at building a hot rod. As far as cars go, I'm into everything, and have been a car guy ever since I remember. I learned to read from looking at all of the car emblems in the parking lots. My main interest is in old sports cars - especially British ones. Truth be told, I was never a convertible person. I fell in love with the shape of the MGB/GT coupe, but after buying my first MG drophead I knew what it was I'd been missing. I'd always liked hot rods (Who dosen't? They're cool!) but after I bought my MGs I took a second look. I always wanted to build a car from the ground up, and I've always liked the look of an A roadster on a deuce frame. I'm also intrigued by this very different, very American approach to the two-seat roadster. Don was kind enough to show me around his place, tolerate my stupid questions, let me sit in his car, and even start up a flathead for me! He has a '29 Sport Coupe body in his backyard, and it looks mighty enticing...Don, you were right. I'm broken.
