Hi folks! I'm doing a little computer work today and decided to break down and sign up for the forum. The last few years, I have frequently come across threads in web searches leading me to the HAMB for solutions to problems that I face working on custom automotive projects. I figured it was time to become part of the forum to 1) show off my projects and 2) to support my fellow fabricators and hotrodders. I'm Johnny, from Central PA, and I recently received my AWS welding certification following a structural welding course. What I really enjoy to do though is not burn rods but to TIG weld and since school, I've been getting fairly decent at it. I have a passion for old Iron, traditional hot rods, gassers, planes, trains, anything OLD with MURICAN power! Here's what I'm in the process of building. I started this project because I come from a low-income background, and I always wanted a flat fender MB. Many of you probably know that there is a vast parts resource for old flatfenders, but the prices are unattainable for someone working at Mall-Mart. I wrecked a '93 s-10 blazer, and it all started with taking about two feet out of the frame. I'll post in the main thread more about it. The body is 100% handmade & TIG welded.
