I found the board while looking for info on some old wheels... but spend my time restoring 60s and 70s muscle cars. I'm mostly into mopars, own a 70 challenger, 68 satellite, 64 330 and some other less interesting newer junk.
From the Sticky at the top of page Read This First! The HAMB is dedicated to spreading the gospel of traditional hot rods and kustoms to hoodlums world wide. Thats right TRADITIONAL. And we arent talking Beach Boys and poodle skirts here fellas. If you are into a-side 50s pop, lawn chairs, ruler contests, and all things that make hot rodding warm and cozy then you might want to find another message board. If you arent sure what we mean by traditional, then you might think twice as well. If youve come here to set a rep, talk some shit, and make some fun then you had better turn around right now. We aren't patient. while I am sure your stuff is very nice, the board is not a place for muscle cars or anything built after '64. Those are the rules from the boss.
I see ya got the "traditional" jump-down-your-throat post out of the way already , lol ! Now ya get the traditional WELCOME to the HAMB post ... Welcome from another PA'er . I see from your post that you're looking into an older ride ... whatcha got in mind ?? (Mopar , I'm sure ) Old Dodge Brothers stuff is cool ...
Haha, sorry I should have mentioned those are my current projects... also got a 46 desoto, 53 plymouth, and a 48 dodge truck. The truck was my grandfathers from way back in the day and is a future rod project. Have a 392 hemi I'd like to install in it... but the first 3 listed earlier need to be finished up before I move on to anything else. Although what I really want to build is a 34 plymouth 2 door sedan. Being 6'4" I figured a sedan would be the way to go for more leg room. My family owned a garage for years and in the barn we have a 53 chevy 5 window tow truck... used up til about 10 years ago. I'll have to snap some pics and post them. I have never saw another one. It's a 1 ton I believe.
Welcome aboard from nearby Maryland. Glad you cleared up the old iron ownership too........... Just to make life easier for yourself, do a quick edit on your profile info. and get those old rods listed. Looking forward to the pics too!
