New guy from S.C.

Okay, here goes. I have been lurking for quite sometime and finally decided to join. I grew up loving hot rods of all kinds. My dad was always willing to stop what he was wrenching on to explain it to me or hand me a wrench and help me along. As a kid we would go to our local dragstrip on grudge night and watch all the locals battle it out. Now that he's gone I want to instill those same things into my son and duaghter. I am currently working on a 1962 Chevy II wagon and my kids are right there in the middle of it. My other hobby is photography. I'm nowhere near as good as some of the talent here on the H.A.M.B. but its a good place for inspiration.

I have family in that area, and one of them is a photographer also. My dad is from Simpsonville, spent many a summers night on granny's back porch eating ice milk.
