Been a member for a few years, lurked around on and off just dreaming, learning, and finding what I like. Finally, this morning, I scored my first ride - a 1964 F100 longbox. Going to pick it up on Saturday. Here's a few pics the seller sent me, more when I get her home and give her the full inspection. Right now the plan is get her brakes working and cruise her around town a little before the snow flies. The winter will be spent making sure she's mechanically sound, patching up the bed, floor and hood, and maybe do a 3/4 drop, who knows. The long term plan is to keep her pretty much stock, fixing things as time and $$ allow, and trying to keep her on the road as much as possible so I can enjoy the project. I will not be painting her until I can have it done right, besides I'm not sure I want a shiny show truck, I think she looks pretty good just the way she is.
welcome to the H.A.M.B...............lots of Truck owners here on the H.A.M.B. Good luck with your Winter projects on the truck. firstnomad www.angelfire.com/jazz/flatlandstudio
Nice truck!! Welcome from Brookings (strange thing to say coming from a Brookings resident to a Vermillion resident, huh???)
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! You're not going to get me riled up about that, I'm imported from Iowa - no allegiance to Jackrabbits or Coyotes.
