HELLO HELLO. Adam from So Cal here. I've been lurkin for a while and really can't get enough of this site. The info, pics, and tech info here are awesome! I purchased my first rod project at the end of last year. Its a 1953 Chevy Business Coupe. I had to put off really diggin into it till now do to some major unexpected life changes, but I'm ready to get goin on her. A little background on the car.....it has a pretty straight body, the guy I bought it from already swaped the the 6 with a SBC and 700r4 trans. The body is pretty straight I think, new white walls, and new tuck/roll on the seats. Had hydraulics in the rear which I have already removed.Heres a quick rundown of my plans for it..........new front clip (Mustang II or Jag?), bag all 4 corners, mild chop, shave the body, and get her on the road. Pulled the motor and trans already and started strippin it down....lil bit of ramblin I know but I'm just excited to get goin on it. I've done work and rebuilds on bikes and a boat but this is my first rod! Any input will be very appreciated.
