Damn good site you guys got here. Can't wait to start pickin everyone's minds. Got a 64' Riviera with a 425. The body's turnin into brown dust and it's got more bondo than metal on it. But it runs like timex even with swiss cheesed radiator. Lookin to turn it all around and transform it into a traditional Bellflower cruiser. Pics to come!

Anyone got any recs. for a good SoCal shop to do some patchwork (floors, qrts. etc.)?

    Thanks!

Welcome! Most here will tell ya to buy a welder and start practicing (what I did), but I'm sure you'll find someone near you if you want to leave it to a shop. Keep us updated with progress and images.

Thanks! Yeah, got a pretty good mig already and I'm not half bad at layin down a weld or two. But I lack the fabrication tools (brakes, shrinkers, stretchers, e-wheels etc.) to fabricate most of the patch panels I need. If I could buy replacement panels it wouldn't be too bad. But for some reason 63-65 Riv. panels aren't that easy to come buy. And the yards in my area are bone dry on early Riv. parts.
