Hi. I started my first rod project at 16, some 47 years ago (a 40 Ford sedan with a '50 Olds 303 and a '39 floorshift) and have never found a cure for the "project" disease. I've been a civil engineer, land use consultant, real estate investor/developer and farmer and have raised four terrific children. While my family and my career took much of my time, I always found time for building or rebuilding projects that ranged from VW bugs to trucks, tractors, hay balers and houses. I'm semi-retired now and have just finished building the shop of my dreams. I have moved my car lift and compressor and welders and my other tools from the pole building I built 20 years ago to the new shop. I won't miss the heat in the summer or the cold in the winter or the lack of light year round. I'm a happy guy who's looking forward to some serious project time. I currently have four projects underway: 1. '32 Desoto convertible coupe is getting an '04 Ram 5.7L hemi 2. '36 Chrysler 4dr sedan with 360 & 727 trans 3. '36 Ford convertible sedan just started (maybe another hemi?) 4. '40 Ford coupe with '96 Cobra 4.6L & 5 speed.
