Good evening Everybody! My name is Sebastian, I live close to Zurich, Switzerland. Just recently, I bought a 1949 Pontiac Streamliner fastback. It is actually in pretty good shape, little rust, battery seems a bit week (slow cranking), with a reading of about 35.000 miles on the counter. Because of it's age, the true reading might be as well 135.000. So I got a first easy question for you guys - any idea what might be a reliable indicator for me to find out about the real mileage? Anyway...back to the topic! I started reading across the forum before buying the car and I found many useful threads already. Thank you for that! Welcome to the H.A.M.B. from Detroit. Unless you can trace owners and service history I don't know of a way to verify the mileage. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
