    G'day everyone,
Registered a while ago,but haven't posted.Too busy working on the rod!Been rebuilding my 29 RPU for about the last 6 years.
It's a 'banger with a Jern overhead,60 thou over, twin 94's, electronic ignition,'B' cam, aluminium flywheel with V8 clutch and pressure plate, full flow oil system, aluminium timing gear and holden v8 valve springs in the chevy head.
I hope to be on a bit more regularly now the RPU is close to done.
Does anyone know if an adapter is available to go from the early 'A' splined steering wheel to a 3 bolt flange or somethin similar.Would appreciate any and all suggestions.Look forward to to hearing from you all and maybe helping out where I can.Cheers.

Thanks for the welcome guys, hope to be on here a little more.I will try and upload some pics of the A ,but be a little patient as I'm not the most tech savy.I dig your ride Colin, mine is set purely and squarely in the pre-war era.Built using all old school technology and tricks. All oxy welded ,hand striped and the like just as a young bloke with no cash back in the day would have done it,thats why its taken six years! I've done everything on the A myself, sorry except the basic bottom end rebuild,it was bought off ebay still in its reconditioners crate,Parry's at Rockdale did that. But adapting the chev head and getting it all to work and not eat itself was all me,not to bad for a plumber,if you'll allow me to blow my own trumpet a little.

I have thought about the chev/olds head myself a few times I think I would get the kit from Neal instead doing from scratch like you

Greetings from the west coast of Florida.

Sometimes it seems like a lot of guys on this site are from down under.

Hot Rodding appears to be alive and well and even thriving down your way.

    Best Regards Jimbo
