Hello Everyone. I am a long time lurker finally getting around to posting. I grew up around hot rods and have built a few of my own. I currently have 2 older VW bugs I drive daily. I have built and drive these because they are what I can afford at the moment. I am an aircraft mechanic by day and run a side business out of my garage fixing cars called Olson's Speed Shop in my spare time. I have spent the last week pouring over the post about the vintage photos of the past loving every photo that I see. I am still only about 400 pages into the almost 3000 posted. Wish I had a time machine to go back to the fifties and hang out for awhile.
I think we would all like to go back a few decades. I would keep some of the stuff I had and sold! Hope you build another hot rod. Have fun.
