I have been reading this board for a while, figured I would create an account. I come here first to research stuff for my street rod build and like how things go here. I am a second generation rodder. My Dad started out with a Model A Tudor and eventually more cars went through his hands then I can keep up with, however he still has the Tudor and 47 Merc he got in High School. One of my first memories was getting sunburn looking at cars in Myrtle Beach and Williamsburg, 25 years later I am going to these shows still, collecting ideas and wish list. A few years ago my wife got me my 30 Tudor project as a wedding gift, yea I am a lucky man. I saved it from the boneyard to have a project that I can learn everything with. 2 years later I am a fair welder with most of the patch panels done and working on hanging the suspension. I suspect the lessons in bodywork will be more painful since I think the last person to drive the A used it to knock over trees with it on a farm or something. Final product will be a full fendored, non-chopped, non-channeled, 302/c4 powered, 8" rear, 4 bar front end, Washington Blue Tudor on Torq Thrust D wheels wrapped in wide whitewalls. I have most of the pieces, but work on it at my Dad's garage a few weekends a month. The one thing my pops taught me is to make it mine with something you haven't ever seen anywhere before. I am going to run a trunk with a fuel cell in it instead of a 32 tank or saddles. I am sure it will be a lot of cussing and more headache to build that then was planned, but it will be worth it.
