Hey all, im 17 and love everything old and nostalgic. My oldest project is a 37 chevy truck that I plan on doing a rudy style rod with. My plan is a 5 inch chop and a equal or more channel on a custom 2x3 frame. For the front suspension I plan on using the stock axle and leafs. For the rear, a ford 8-inch slung with coil overs. Little or no bed and a 29 chev modded grill shell up front. For the engine Iam undecided and might go with either a (the norm)355 or a 61 401 Nailhead. Iam leaning toward tha nailhead just because Iam tired of seeing small block chevys so much. My other project isnt as old. Its a 66 mustang coupe. My first car. It will be turbo charged and will be pushing 600 whp. It is almost complete. I just got the chev a week ago and have it down to bare metal and ready to do body work on it. Anyone In the Central WA area? Im in Yakima which is pretty much as middle of the state as you can get. Glad to be here, Always lurked but never had an old enough project. Now I do and plan to stay alot longer. Nick
Welcome! Sounds like you got it all figured out, now I need to take notes and get going on my 25T. I've got a lot of decisions and work needed in mine also.
