I’ve been on and off the H.A.M.B. for years gathering information. Decided to finally make a profile and join in on the fun. I’m a 33 year old father, husband, and funeral director. Been building old cars since I was a teenager, mostly muscle cars and trucks. I’ve finally embarked on a project worthy of the H.A.M.B., so here I am. Currently building a ‘53 Chevy 2 door. I picked it up from the first owners grandson. It has been in a barn in ‘74 when the fuel pump went out. I was surprised to find it 100% complete, with a spare set Caddy eyebrows. So far I have stripped the drivetrain, suspension and interior to prepare for the build. Planning a mild custom, and I’m currently waiting on my MII and Gambinos tail dragger 4 link. Power plant will be an twin turbo LS, with a 4L60e to back it up. The picture below was how she looked when I brought her home. I’ll start a build thread once I get rolling.
