    hello! new guy here...I just bought a 1947 buick super 8 4 door, has original Inline 8, and is a driving project, I live in louisville, ky..glad to have found this forum

    Great car. I have just bought a 1947 Buick. The seller said it was a super I called it a special. What is the difference? I know nothing about Buicks. I literally fell into this one when I was working on a truck belonging to one of my vendors. We got to talking about my 59 F100 and it was suggested I look at this 47. I bought it because it was complete and everthing worked.
