  1. hey guys, i just picked up a 52 meteor customline last weekend and cant get enough of this group!! ive got a lot planned with this thing and will be my first custom build. its a driver now but needs a LOT of love.

ive found tons on here helpful so far with the little things. does anyone know of a good source other than macs for door seals and weather stripping?

Most of the seals sold by most vendors are from Dennis Carpenter and prices tend to run the same the difference in cost may be found in shipping charges.Look up these suppliers ,www.cl***icautoparts.com, www.cgfordparts.com www.denniscarpenter.com www.usapartssupply.com. I suggest getting a catalog from all these vendors, I got my weatherstripping from cl***ic auto parts which has them in complete kits. The door seals are also available from Steele Rubber Products and tend to be of better quality and fit.Thought I would p*** this along, the rubber boots on the hood hinge vents from Dennis Carpenter are thin quality JUNK,mine fell apart in about seven months get a used motorcycle inner tube which is much thicker and make your own.

Welcome to the group from NorCal. Nice starter car. I buy my rubber parts from Concourse parts or Dennis Carpenter.
