Hey everybody! I've been reading through the forums for a while and finally went ahead and registered. I don't have a car currently but I've been dreaming for a while and saving up the cash. I do have a 1973 Honda CB 750 sled that I'm pretty proud of. I haven't personally seen another like it here in Austin. Black primer on black, lowered about 4" in the back, drag bar, dual discs in front, no fenders, cut-down seat pan to a solo seat, velocity stacks. I guess it's a cross between a cafe, a rat and a bobber but to me it's a sled and if you don't like it, you're a sonofabitch! Just kidding. I'm a motorcycle/atv/jet ski mechanic and have done just about everything else in life you can think of, at one time or another. I've worked in law firms, horse stables, country clubs, photography, machine shop, boat shop, etc, blah blah blah. I have always been interested in hotrods, since I was a kid, but really fell in love with traditional rods and "rats" when I went to the LoneStar Roundup a couple years ago. Trailer Queens and "Boydsters" have their place, just not in my heart. Anyway, I'd like to meet some of the other folks here in town that are into the kustom lifestyle and traditional rods and make some new friends. Hope to see you guys around the forums and on the streets.
