I've been checking out the HAMB for a while and finally got around to joining. I've been into cars since I can remember, my dad got me started, taking me to shows, watching him work on them as a small kid. We always had different tastes. he liked sports cars, i liked hot rods. Have a 55 chevy truck with an inline 6 that has been a perpetual project. I plan on keeping the solid axle and keeping it simple (no air bags, no billet). I tend to like cars that are unusual, anything with 'patina.'
Welcome to the H A M B. Drove a 50 chevy pick-up for 15 years. Sounded like yours except went v8 after a few years.
Good to hear from you. i like the inline because its different, but i think about a v8 every time i try to take it on a trip. as long as i stay on the two lanes i'm allright...
