My name is Jamie. I actually joined the HAMB back in the summer, but I don't think I properly introduced myself.

I was stricken with the old car sickness as a kid, and I'm still not recovered. I restored a '61 T-Bird when I was in my early 20's. Then I sold it, and I still regret that. I've been known to dabble in VW split window buses, but clearly that is due to some kind of mental deficiency on my part, so I'll never mention that again.

I'm currently collecting parts to build a '33 Ford pickup hot rod, but so far I only have a cab, frame, rearend and headlights. You'll see me on here trying to sell off some other old collected parts to finance this new project. I'm always open to trades, too. I've got a nice pile of NOS Mopar sheetmetal from the 40's and piles of other cool stuff that needs a new home.

I look forward to seeing other people's projects and sharing ideas for mine. Thanks for reading.

    Welcome from Woburn, MA!
I get up to Maine a few times a year and I also buy and sell parts to get the parts I need, it's a good way to get what you need and get what someone else needs into their hands and out of the scrapper's. You won't need to wait too long to find parts up that way if you dig around enough. maine still has lots of parts hiding in people's barns I've found.

Hello from Massachusetts! My father is building a house over in wells, and I go up to help on weekends. I also found a guy in york who has a really nice 1928 ford tudor. He found the car in a barn up there in maine, and everything was original from the wood to the tires. He actually has the original wood still in there, but is now getting around to replace it.

I don't know him enough to really have you two meet, but just remember that there are still some deals out there in barns! Check out Uncle Henry's occasionally.

I am only 19 and don't really have a hot rod yet, so I don't have much advice or real expertise to offer here, but tell me if you ever need anything that a second set of arms require!
