Been scanning this forum for a bit, so I figured it was time to join. I am fairly new to Michigan, living in Clawson and am looking for any other trad rodders in the area. I live not to far from Woodward and 15mile.... Anybody gathering on the strip during the summer?

Currently I am rescuing a '29 Tudor which was a '60s hot rod project that was never finished and left out in the rain. Unfortunately the previous owners had more bondo skill than brains!! I will post some pics of the uncovered sin and my designs soon.

In the end the ole ford will be chopped 5", channelled 7.5", full custom frame, suicide quarter-ellip front, cowl steer, 400hp SBC connected to a muncie and running old airbags in the rear fed by a WWII B-25 air compressor.

During the day I am a sales engineer for Timken, at night I either tweak on the rod or spend time at the drafting table designing rods & kustoms.

    Thanks
    Justin

I am also in Michigan, working in Novi, but live in Oxford. So I try to drive Woodward home. So far I haven't seen anything out there. I am an Auto Engineer. I am looking for local car clubs or people to gather with, get ideas from, contacts for projects, etc.
