I have looked at your site and really enjoy it. I'm 65 and have been fooling around with cars since 58. My 1st ride was a 37 Ford Pickup with a later flathead,2-2's and aluminum heads. In 59 I got a 57 Pontiac and raced it at Madera, Ballico and Half Moon Bay until 1962. Currently have a 55 Chevy that we've owned for 35 years and it was our main car from 79 to 85 and raced it at Sears Point and Fremont drags. My real interest is in traditional 40 Fords. Have built 4 in the past 5 years and am currently finishing one with my son--gotta keep the younger guys interested. The cars are kinda like they would have been in 59-60 except with some upgrades but no billit, steel wheels and dropped axles.
