New Guy in OK.

I have a 62 Chevy II that started out a partial body and a frame.
Now I am up to the suspension and think I might have a problem that I would like some feedback on. My concern is my ball joint on lower A -arm seems to be pinched and I am concerned about a real problem if I hit a pothole. Here is a picture I took that shows the problem. What do you think?

Sorry I didn't make a real introduction. I am currently working on a 62 Chevy II and the picture reflects a MII
Front end I installed to update the handling. I have built rods and drag cars off and on for over 50 years.
Have had a couple of 32 Fords, 50 Olds coupe and a 55 Chevy and a 64 Chevy. I am pleased to be a part of this group.
