Well it took me a while to get here. I was busy rolling on the floor in bondo dust after reading the spec sheet Ryan Cochran wrote on his '38 Deluxe Coupe. I can tell that the HAMB is chocked full of down home car enthusiests my momma warned me about. Not a single tree hugger in sight. Man this just feels right. I have been a long time rod lover thank to my pop. I helped him build a couple of cars at his tire shop (hence akatireguy). Only recently did I aquire a ride I can be proud of. Its a 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88, 4dr Sdn. Under hood is a beefy 454 bored .60 over with a nice list of mechanical upgrades. Alright I know, I'm ramblin. I get that from pop also.

Welcome aboard. Yeah, this can be a fun place. Lots of good tech stuff, exceptional artists, friendly people and Germ. [IMG]

Welcome to the HAMB. I gotta ask, what kind of rear are you running in that thing to support a 454? I****ume that the original rear has gone bye-bye.

Welcome aboard, (pun intended).....
Olds looks nice, I know a guy looking to do a similar swap on a 54 98, I owuld think the original rear might handle it for some time they are pretty strong.
Hey here's that pic of mine.

MY BAD.. my piece of***** program i have to use at work doesnt recognize lower case. DOS***** integrated into a windows platform, I guess Ford Motor Co would rather spend their funds on R&D instead of computer programs. Yes I'm at work with some extra time... I don't beleive how slow it is. The fords usually cant pass a repair shop... [IMG]
