Thanks for the great pictures, weather doesn't look that bad in the pictures. In fact looks warm and cozy with children out riding their bikes.
Awesome intro man I am a proud Canadian. My intro was sad compared to yours. Love the pictures and all . I have a 28 sedan still working on it. John
What!? No photos of Orcabettys, tatoos or your favorite rockabilly band? Could you measure the height of your pomp and your cuffs for us? I'll bet your cars even have floors and good brakes, huh? Oh well, you'll prolly fit here anyway. Welcome to the addictive madhouse...jump in!
Man...nice collection of drivers and projects...the shots of your dad's 34 were especially sweet...welcome from a fellow snow bound canuck!

Got to agree, that's one of the best intros I've ever read. Now that you've set the bar so high we'll expect big things from you. WELCOME!!! BTW, don't mind Hatch, he just HAS to tweak things. haha!!! Frank
Damn glad to meet ya! All of those cars are top notch, Fat Hack should enjoy the pink plymouth, it matches his dream bike perfectly! All kidding aside, welcome -Joe
Welcome to the HAMB, Nice to see another Canuck here. Will the plymouth axle and springs be for sale? I got a 38 Dodge that really needs it!!!!
WOW...great intro! post more pics of the 51 coupe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a 52 coupe and I can look at pictures of those cars all day long!!!
best intro ever. period. Your dad's taste incars seems to have, well, um, changed. He was off to a great start. Looks a lot like my dad's first '34. Pics of that are what got me going, too. Best thing is, this sickness (HAMB) has NO cure...
Welcome. Highly satisfactory rides, excellent family history, outstanding intro overall. You'll fit right in.
Nice intro! Ya got some cool cars there..i agree dads old '34 is bitchin! I also really like your '63. My dad bought one new. Maroon, 327 4 speed impala (not SS) hard top. It's one of those cars i honestly wish i could find. I'd love to get it back and re do it for my dad. Oh well, probably long gone. Anyway, welcome to the CrAzY house. Rat...
Welcome from a fellow Winnipeger ... no more weather stories from me now Great intro! I better get my butt in gear now that you have set a high standard for Winterpeg rides. Later, papa al
Awesome intro! Love the cars! I can relate about losing the '34. I sold my '32 coupe years ago and now I can't believe I did it! Welcome!
Thanks to all for the kind words. I'd been lurking long enough to know better than to post a half-assed intro. As for the weather here, don't let the pics fool you. This is what it looked like today (see pic). Same for the last 2 months and the next 2 months. ROCKY, OrcaBetty's? Does that mean you want pictures of fat chicks? (kidding) No pompadour but I'm working on some kick-ass sideburns. Another 6 months and they'll be filled in nicely. Don't mind rockabilly, music is very high on my list of priorities but I lean more to the blues/R&B side of things (Muddy Waters invented electricity). And as for good brakes, they all stop but 4 out of the 5 cars in those pics have single fruit jar master cylinders. Might change a few of those to dual masters this year. Blew a brake line on the Impala last year and it could have been ugly.
VonTingler, regarding my dad's '37, the color shall remain a mystery. I asked him about it and he made some quick comment about it 'standing out in a crowd'. When I pressed further he got really defensive so I backed off. I borrow a lot of tools off him, so I don't want to tick him off. I forgot to mention that he's also got a pile of parts taking up one stall in his garage that dreams of being a '28 Pontiac someday. Rest assured that when it's ready, I'll have a say in color selection. MR57, I'll get back to you on the '37 axle and springs. He's a bit of a horder and has trouble parting with anything, but I think he's already got more than one. 29EHV8, thanks for the offer but I think that trail is probably a little too cold. He traded it straight up for a '40 Ford back in the mid sixties. Didn't even get the guys name. The guy saw the '34 on the street and liked it, knocked on the door, made the offer and they sealed the deal with a handshake. My dad has seen it twice since then. The first time it was a lime green color (originally grey-primer when he had it). The second time (in 1980) it was all jacked up with a crudely grafted on late fifties Ford IFS and wearing red primer. Both times it was still in Winnipeg, but haven't seen it since. EVILFORDCOUPE - very nasty 5 window, I've got that little video of it barely idling on my desktop. Gets played at least once a day...
OHHHHH Darren...why ya show em snow pics!! Half the states think we live in igloo's as it is!! Aint seen hardly a flake on the westcoast I'm scared........... i've never seen them all be nice before It's eerie
