Hey everybody, Been lurking for a while, but finally decided to make the intro post. I am a longtime Mopar nut with a '72 Duster in the garage. My family has a bunch of old cars, including a '59 Caddy Convert, a '56 Chevy, and a '61 Vette, but I'm the mopar guy. I'd been wanting to find something older until this car found its way to me. It's a '67 Polara wagon and it's going to the body shop next week so they can fix my bad body work and paint this beast. Anyway, I am pretty set on a two-tone paint job, but from there I'm stuck. I was going to keep it a blue color because that's how she was born, but I just can't make up my mind. I have all the stainless trim for the side of the car and the luggage rack, but the rack isn't salvageable for chrome. It could be powdercoated or I might just leave the holes and keep looking until I find a clean one. The stainless trim follows the upper body line and looks decent, but I'm not set on putting it back on the car. Anyway, if anyone has any tips on this thing, I'm all ears. I definitely want to get the right look for the era of the car, and I'm not as up on the 60s cars as I am the older stuff or the 70s stuff. Thanks for reading!
