I still remember the day when I was a little boy and watched my neighbor pull his T bucket from his shed as he had done a hundred times before and began to turn the wrenches. As I watched quietly from my porch he caught me gawking and invited me over to have a closer look. I sat in wonderment of the machine that sat before me that wasnt nearly as new or as shiny as most of the cars in the neighborhood were but when it drove by all stopped to turn their heads and just watch it p***. This is were I trace my love for all things hotrod. I have been through a few of the "fad" styles like crotch rockets and even a ****hole muffler honda at one un-proud point. But I have always been into the original pre war roots of hotrodding. I am a fairly decent wrench and hope to have a chance or two to kick down a little of what I have learned over the years to others in this arena. My recent purchase of a 1953 gmc got me to looking on the internet about some of the mods I want to do to it. It was then I came across the H.A.M.B. and all of the members helping one and other out. This is great! I will have the 53 here this weekend and will post some pics of it. Thanks for the great site
