Hello, I'm Ron and although I've been a member for 2 years, I am just now figuring out how it all works. I am not all that good with computers and new stuff. That's why I still run carbs and points. It worked years ago and it still works. I love hot rods and customs and my favorite is old g***ers. In fact I am the owner of a 55 Ford g***er (yes, that one, the one that spent 43 years on a shelf!) I should say very proud owner. I also own: 50 Ford 2dr sedan, flathead with all the goodies, 80k miles since buying in '95 57 Nomad-wifes 63 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200-wifes-27k miles-like my 1st car 57 Belair-sons-looks like a g***er with the bumper delete option 57 210 4dr wagon-ex drag car-it's a roller and 4 sale-raced 1971 to late 80's 50 Ford F1-I made it into a "Tow Mater" look a like-daily driver-lots of fun 67 Mini-British Car Magazine sponsored with tons of history-built by Clive Trickey I haven't really done anything to the 55 Ford g***er yet but hope to get it running before much longer. I bought it off ebay June 2011. My first and only drag racing trophy was in a 55 Ford victoria in 1973. Well I hope I haven't bored you with my introduction. One more thing, I retired from the USAF in 94 and retired from all work except for my cars and the wifes honey do list 4 yrs ago. Look forward to being more active with H.A.M.B.
