I like pretty much everyone of the guys on this forum am a car nut. I quess in a way I was born into the insanity since my grandfather (Barney Pollard) was the collector in Detroit that stood cars on their bumpers insides buildings to hide them from the WWII scrap drives(you get get a lot more cars into a smaller space). It became my playground so to speak and I have always enjoyed restoring and spending whatever spare time I can steal to enjoy them. I spend a fair amount of time doing research which can be as much a curse as it can a pleasure (it just takes a bunch of time) I enjoy antiques, classics, racecars and muscle cars and have owned a few of each. I presently am working on a 62 Corvette and starting on an early racer (1916). Ran across the HAMB by mistake and it has a bunch of neat posts. Hope to find time to add a few posts myself. Jim
