new guy to rods, any advise will be taken

Glad to see you've ditched the souless new stuff for the soulfull old! Hit up car shows and spend time on here. I like what Bo Huff said one time: "don't change something for the sake of change"-old cars have amazing style, sometimes nothing is needed, sometimes only something small. More horsepower is nothing but a good thing! Some old engines are cool, some aren't. Just start talking and getting answers, ask the same question to 40 different guys, then average the answers. You will definatly run into a lot of people (most people actually) that "have done this, have done that, this is wrong, this is how you do this" and in reality they are full of it. You'll figure out that the guys that know the most usually talk the least, but in hot rodding if you ask, you will most likely get answered. Glad to see ya here, and the truck and honda are cool!

I like your truck, step sides are nice, a bit rare too. I would put this back to clean stock and reliable so I could chase parts and transport the bikes with it. If you lower it you will pull all the truck out of it. Nice find.
