hi all, new to the board and im lovin it. i just bought a '50 chevy pickup project. i havent done a project this large before. the truck is complete, but in rough shape. im going to do a s10 frame swap (already have the truck) and have gotten a lot of info on the swap here. i am trying to get the truck on the road for under $1500 daily drivable in flat black. i have $500 in so far with the '50 and the s10 (which already has a 350 and 700r4) ive also already got a set of wheels and tires. what i am looking for at this point as i am just parts gathering at this point as i dont have a garage yet. i am trying to got fairly modern (power windows, shaved handles, HEAT, ect.) anyways... what i am looking for now is what should i keep from the s10 to recycle for the '50? anyone got any suggestions on where to get cheap stuff for the truck? i need fenders (mine are rotted out), radiator, floorboards. any help is appreciated. as soon as i start on it i will post some pics, im just waitin to find the right house to buy.

Mike, we assume all FNG are full of shit unless they post pictures!!!! Welcome to the site. Best thing to do as far as the s-10 is concerned, is park it out back. You would be amazed at what you can rob off it, even if it is just bolts.
