New Guy with a New Toy

I just got a 1951 Chevy PU in good condition everything original and am in the planning stage of a restoration. I plan to drop a SB V8 into it and upgrade a lot of stuff.

The VIN starts out win 21JRL which I believe makes it a 3600 3/4T with a 125.25 WB.

My initial question is will the frame hold up to a V8 or should I do a S10 frame swap. I know this is a very worn out question but with it being a 3600 and a longer wheelbase I haven't seen a lot mentioned.
