Hi & welcome. That ride can turn out really well as there are lots of parts easily avalible for them.
There are also lots of hop up items for those engines. I have a local friend with several Model A's, some are stock and some have goodies. Some have higher compression head, dual carbs, dual exhaust and couple have overdrive units & they can zip down the Hwy with the traffic.
As I have not done a Model A recently (early 60's when I did mine) I am not up on best parts sources but likely a good place to start is the Ford Barn.
Others should come along with more info.
