Hello. I’ve been reading posts for many years, but decided to finally create an account and post some myself. I bought a ‘32 ford roadster replica around 7 years ago and have been driving it around and tinkering with it since then. I find myself driving it less and less recently and am considering parting ways. Interested to hear if other have been through a similar cycle.
Hello from E. Tennessee . In regard to your question about driving your car less and less, do you run by yourself, or do you have friends that are interested in cars like yours? I'm sure that there are several people in your area that are on this board. By the way, we like pictures .
Thanks alanp561. When I bought the car, I envisioned my wife next to me with my son in the rumble seat, cruising along the beach. Well, we’ve done that a fair amount, and it’s not “new” any more. I don’t have a group to drive with… maybe this board will help with that!?! pictures attached (I think I did anyways)
Okay. Go to the top of the page and click on the little banner on the left with the 3 figures in it. You'll get a drop down menu and you want "Member Search". Click on that and you'll get this. Type in San Diego in the location box and hit "Search". Now, I looked myself and there are a ton of folks on that list who haven't been active in a long, long time but, there are quite a few who are recently active. Click on the active one's usernames and look at their profile. There will be tabs with information about recent activity, posts, threads, general info and feedback stats. One thing I've noticed on here is the reluctance of many to give a general idea of their location. Hiding yourself on a forum like this is okay I guess but if you really don't want to interact with others why bother, unless it's for the entertainment value. I can guarantee that there are some funny SOB's on here as well as some of the kindest people you'll ever find. The San Diego Prowlers Car Club looks like they are still in operation with a FB page. Good luck with your search.
