This is a nice message board. A lot of nice info. Anyway, I'm 'John Milner' and I just thought that I would introduce myself. I live here in southern Oklahoma and we probably have too many cars. I have a 69, 71 and 74 gto (I know, not old enough) and am trying to scrounge enough parts together to build a hot rod of some sort. I have the frame and engine/tranny, but no body for it. My dad has a 40 Ford Deluxe coupe with a 10:1 compression 400 Pontiac with a big hydraulic cam and a 4 speed that we just got done freshening up. It still has the strait axle in it. We put a 57 Ford 9 inch rear end with 3:55's in it. Anyway, just thought I would introduce myself. John Milner
This one came from right off hwy 81 behind the guys house. He bought it in 1976. Been in his barn ever since.
Very nice find. I guess I have probably passed that 100 times and never knew it was there. He didnt happen to have any more lying around did he?
That's the problem with all these lumps.LOL Some you find and some you don't. Welcome to the HAMB maybe now your ass won't catch fire .
I talked to my dad and he seemed to remember that one. Was it east off of hwy 81 on main street (hwy 29) on the south side of the road at an old body shop? If it was, that thing wasn't forsale for years! Nice to see that it is going to get fixed up.
No it was on the west side of 81 out of sight. It was buried in junk. You would have never seen it. He was right next door to some appliance repair place. If you want to find model a's, talk to the guy that owns the body shop in Marlow. A fellow hamber gave me his number and he told me about this car. I don't remember the name of the body shop but I can search for it.
Hey John theres some guy in very wicked 55 chevy lookin for you. LOL Welcom aboard!!! Great name!! Jeff
