Hi, I'm Bob from Arkansas.Just joined, although I probably won't post much. I perfer staying in the backgroung and gathering all of the knowledge I can. Apparently there's a wealth of it here. My current project is a '52 Chevy p/u with a 235 inline six. Plans are for a monoleaf suspension, headers and a dual intake, maybe a Wayne or Offenhauser covers. I will bow to modern technology for the tranny, I've got a T-5 that will be going in it. I hope to have a mildly modified custom cruiser that will be dependable enough to be a daily driver and get decent (20+) miles per gallon. I don't have a lot of mechanical experiance, so as stated before, I'll probably keep my mouth shut. However, if I can help anyone, just let me know.

I see that you're in Conway. I'm about 20 miles west of you, in Morrilton. I'm one of "Morrilton's Finest Boys in Blue."- Don't hold it against me.:D

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I'll try to get to one of the Conway get togethers before long if I can get my old truck reliable enough.:) I took it off of a farm where it had been used "in the fields" for 20 years about 6 months ago, and everytime I drive it, I find more must fix items. Here's a pic of it, please don't be too harsh, a paint job (and other mods) is still a ways off in the future.
