    What to say hi to everyone......I'm from Beaumont, Texas... I'm currently building a 37 Chevy truck but I'm looking for a 1929-1931 model A ford for a rat rod. love the website.....:)

    Welcome, and a warning for you..If you use that "rat rod" terminology on the HAMB you are likely to get flamed and called everything but a human.There are a lot of people here that hate rat rods.Just a word to the wise......call it a hot rod.

    Welcome. Yeah, avoid rat rod terminology. It sorta has darn near the same meaning as **** box. The guys who go to "rat rod events" actually MOST of them have rods that are more like a lot of the rods I remember from the 50s. Primer, simple interiors and so on. Some are pretty nicely built. Although, some are truly ****boxes. I am sure others will join in.
