Finally joined up, building a 30a coupe chopped, channeled running 283. Induction is 6 stromberg 97s. Currently has drop tube with disk brakes, but plans are to change to I-Beam and buick drums. Live in Wellington New Zealand. Will be browsing cl***ifieds to buy all my parts. Previously owned a 4 door 57 Belair, 32 Ford 5w coupe and finally a 2 door 57 Belair Sports Coupe. Got involved in drag racing for about 15 years starting off with a 9 sec Topolino, a 7 Sec 23T altered, then finally a Pontiac Funny car with best time of 6.01(just couldnt crack the 5's). Gave it all away to follow my sons sports, one playing rugby and the othe racing motocross. Now as they are older have time to get back into car building and really love the traditional styles.
