Welcome to the group! your problem usually happens in the reverse, that an engine will die from a vacuum leak.Any ideas Guys?

  5. Welcome mate,i'am no mechanic,I had feul hose line on my brake booster and vacuum line on the dizzy the wrong way and the engine
was idoling to high.Swapped the hose's in the right places and used
correct brake hose and i bolted the carby on to tight, loosened the carby so not to tight. The car runs good now.
