Hi everybody. I'm Danny *******, from Austin, TX. I've been on the HAMB for a while, but haven't posted cause I forgot my p***word for a while. Oops. :D My project is a 52 Customline I picked up in January and am planning on making a 50's style Kustom out of it. These cars are way underrated and it's nice to see a group of people who dig 'em as much as I do! I'm looking forward to talking to you all.

Thanks guys! I just moved into a fellow CC member's house and already got my baby in the garage ready to get rolling. I love to do***ent car builds, so there will be plenty of pics posted as soon as I get started. I can tell ya the details for now...everyone is trying to go 60's style these days. So I'm going the OTHER way (and doing all the work myself), with a Carson top, 2dr conversion, subtle interior, frenched and smoothed everything, paint her a nice root beer brown, and drive the heck out of her with her stock 215 6cyl. And I'm even keeping the stock drum brake system! Simple, but effective, I hope.

Sounds good, 52. I only have one picture of it right now and it's just how I got it. Not quite root beer brown, but I believe it could be most accurately described as "Surface Rust Brown". :0) I haven't started working on it just yet. Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!

Welcome Danny! I can't believe you haven't changed your last name yet :). If ya wanna see your current ride in different paint, etc. I can hook members up with my modest photoshop skills- just lemme know.

Your ride sounds like it's gonna be cool.
