New Hamber from the Charlotte NC area

Hi,I just wanted to introduce myself...my name is Steve Taylor and I live in the Charlotte,NC area (Matthews).Originally from upstate NY,I've lived in my present location for twenty years.I'm 54 and have a shop specializing in Infinitis and Nissans (sorry ).I've got some fabricating equipment,but I need to get more proficient at using everything.I like old hot rods and drag cars ,just not too crazy about the shiny everything,megabucks ,billetmobiles .I've been to the Hot Rod Reunion at Bowling Green for the last three years although I don't know about going next year with the move to Columbus .Interested in meeting other like minded car guys,especially from my area.I'm a big fan of the Jalopy Journal.

I'll attend the GoodGuys show at Charlotte if I don't go to the vintage drag meet at South Georgia Motorsports Park which of course is the same weekend !
