i'm new here, and have heard many good things about this site. i live in macon and am retired from a lifetime of being run hard and put up wet! now i have time to work on my 22 year 59 ford convertable project, but no money...oh well. the car was given to me to save it from the crusher and it was super rough. i lived in north carolina at the time and my "pals" laughed at me when i drug the raggedy ragtop out of the brush and started work on it. did the best i could with what i had to work with...got it running with 302 and c-4 that i've had for 25 years. after a year of hard labor, busted knuckles, and coining new cuss words, i rolled the car out of my garage in it's (more or less) present late 50's style mild custom condition. after all these years of being driven, the thing has acquired a certain amount of patina on top of what was far from perfect to start with...in other words, it's a 50 footer, but i don't care...it's a keeper! thanks for listening...later.
