Seemed like it shrunk the skin around the framework!!
Was a perfect red when I got it but after the blast job you could seen the entire framework of the hood under the skin. When I called the company he said the operator held the nozzle too close to the metal. (naturally it was "operator error") Took it to the s****e yard with my other s****e metal.
I hate to think about it.....it was a perfect fit on my old hot rod. Now its typical aftermarket ****!

ok, I would agree with the ***essment. I have no experience with dustless blasting but I have done sandblasting since the early to mid seventies until the last few years And I never warped or damaged any thing . You gotta keep that tip moving and at a good distance . I remember I blasted a Toyota celica hood back in 79 and was a bit scared because it was quite flimsy compared to to ole metal I had been blasting so I took my time and fanned it from further distance than I had done on other stuff .I think I even lowered the pressure to about 80 where I usually was at around 100. Anyway it came out nice so If a celica hood from the seventies can be safely blasted , someone whom is suppose to be a professional should have no problem with a 65 mustang hood. Hope they bought you a new hood, I would have.
