New Hot Rod Video

Hey all,

I decided to come home this evening from work and try my hand at some video editing. In about 90 minutes or so I created a great music video using much of the footage found at deadendcruisers.com and from a link of someone's project A I located here on the HAMB. All the footage and music are used totally without permission...I was just seeing what I could create. I'm also not out to make dough on this, so if you see your car, please don't be mad. The video is just over 4min long and is about 7MB, sorry dial-up customers!

If you have .wmv or .mpg files of your rod in action and you just want to donate it to me so I can create more stuff, PM me. I've got a great idea for a video set to Ministry's "Jesus Built My Hot Rod"!

The music used in my video comes from a NZ band once-called-Shihad, but now called Pacifier...their song "Live in Cars" just begs some awesome footage of people's rides! Let me know whatcha think!

Yeah, I noticed that now the page can't load. I'm ***uming it's an error on Yahoo's end, but I could be wrong. I swear the link worked just fine for me before I posted it. I freakin hate Yahoo sometimes...does anyone have a spare 7MB of space? Trust me...I'll get it to work by tomorrow.

Oh good, it's working now! So relieved to know it was a temporary problem. Glad you like it. It's a song I've loved for a long time and have wanted to put some visuals to. I'll see if I can't collect some footage for another one sometime soon.

Cool, Shihad had to change their name as it was seen to be too close to what them Arab types are always on about and figured not to be a good idea in the US Great band but I liked the Shihad tag much better then Pacifier, exellent live act.

Yeah, I noticed when I got up this morning that the Yahoo page isn't loading again. Try the alternate link listed in this thread. I really need to find other folks out there willing to host it. Yahoo's just too big for its own good. Someone else gets a lot of activity slows the rest of us down. My apologies for all the inconveniences.

Update: Okay, I seriously think the page being down is a function of either Yahoo or too many people trying to view it. I've resaved the movie in a lower quality...music's a little tinny, but oh well. It's now only a 2.9MB file, so I hope that helps. If nothing else, you can right click and Save the larger version of the movie that Lost Cause was so kind to host for me. Remember, I'm still looking for more footage!

Your video project came out out great! I've watched a bunch of times already. That songs stuck in my head now. Is there an album with this cut on it?
