...not! Hi All, Herewith I proudly announce the latest addition to the H.A.M.B. - The Junkman. Born in Austria, raised in Germany, having lived in Belgium and the USA, I now settled in England, where I continue to challenge the demanding eccentricity standards set by British intellectuals (at least in terms of absent-mindedness, says my wife). For some reason or other, I've been around big bloody American V8 engines for as long as I can remember. First in the speedboats on the lake I was raised at, then I worked for the PX-Garage system of the US Army in Europe, then I had my own company importing new Corvettes. Since the mid-1980s I co-campaign Top Fuel Funnycars, and until very recently, I have been active in BriSCA/NACO Stockcar F1 racing. I also used to race a Corvette in the FIA/STT series during the Eighties. I hope this qualifies me to be at least in the vicinity of real hot rodders. Other hobbies are my ever growing model car and kit collection (currently ca. 3000), my collection of vintage bicycles, and yes, I do collect real cars, but had to severely reduce this collection. The crisis, you know. Well, actually sod the crisis, it's because I'm getting too old and lazy to maintain that many cars, but let's presume it's the crisis, OK? Well, I don't really know of anything else to say at this moment, but please do feel free to ask if you have any questions. Cheerio, The Junkman
