Hello all, I just signed up but have been reading posts for about a year. I have been into cars my whole life, getting my first at 12 (a 1972 Pinto that I was going to keep forever, but tore apart and had it hauled away) and have owned about 40 cars (36 now). My oldest so far however has been a 66 bronco but I have wanted a pre-64 for a long long time. I have 2 kids and I am taking in a foster girl so I dont knwo when that is going to happen for me. I keep thinking I am going to find that 500 dollar porject that I can convince my wife to let me drag home. I have passed a 56 olds 2 door in a RV storage lot every day for the last 2 years but still havent dropped a note on it, mainly because I dont have the cash. My luck he would say 1000 bucks and I couldnt afford it and would be bummed even more. I go to as many shows as I can and get about 15 different car rags. This will be my third year at hunnert and I also do the local billetproof. SO if anyone in metro-detroit has a solid project for CHEAP and needs it gone, let me know. Even something into the 70's as long as it is unusual. I love wagons.
Welcome from Blissfield. Not so sure on the 'solid' part of one of my piles, but I can hook you up with a fairly complete 54 Chevy 4 door I was using for parts. No motor, trans or fenders, but if you are just killing the grass in the yard it works GREAT!
